Business Biographical Information
Tarik Stokes, Chief Executive Officer of A.R.S., L.L.C. has played a tremendous role in the development and success of the internal operations within ARS, LLC. He manages a team of ten Customer Care Experts who are ultimately responsible for the quality and success of individual client employee relocations. His participation at A.R.S. L.L.C. organization spans many facets of the company. Tarik has been influential in developing the discipline that the customer service team prides itself on and has been acknowledged by clients as "The Rock"…addressing the solid, dependability his team shows.
Tarik also has brought his IT skills to the company, managing the technology infrastructure that supports the flexible operations. When the latest software programs are introduced to the market, Tarik is the one investigating the value and then collaborating with the contracted consultant regarding implementation into the A.R.S. information systems. As a result, ARS has up-to-the-minutes systems. During his time spent away from Servers and Desktops and the latest web technology, Tarik has dedicated much of his time developing and reshaping the process in which his Customer Service team manages the relocations for ARS clients. What was once a 14 step process, has been condensed to a much more efficient, fluent, 11 step program.
Community Service Involvement:
Since Mr. Stokes has been living in the Chicago-land area he has become a member of Rev. Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Push Coalition. Here he has the opportunity to become involved in assisting smaller minority-owned organizations problem solve swiftly and appropriately, when working with customer service issues. Mr. Stokes, being a visionary, knows where the future lies…and it is his belief that the future of humanity lies with our children. It is because of his conviction that he aspires to join Child Advocate organizations.
Presently, Mr. Stokes is working with a group of young African-Americans in developing a not-for-profit organization called, The Seeds of Nature, (S.O.N.). The core purpose of this developing organization is to teach young, striving adults how to love themselves, their communities, and their earth.
In his spare time, Mr. Stokes is a writer, and currently has a book of poetry in progress that addresses children's and social issues.
Chicago Minority Business Development Council:
Tarik Stokes has a strong commitment to small business development and he is actively involved with the Chicago Minority Business Development Council (CMBDC.) The CMBDC is dedicated to increasing business opportunities between major buying organizations and minority-owned businesses. Tarik is a member of the Corporate/MBE Membership Committee and is committed to increasing the number and quality of minority-owned businesses engaged and enrolled in this premier organization. By sharing the success that A.R.S. has had with the organization, along with other minority-owned companies, Tarik will demonstrate the value of engaging with the CMBDC. Membership drives, luncheons, and other activities will give potential members the opportunity to see what amount of success the council can contribute to a minority-owned company.
A.R.S. L.L.C. Current client list includes; McDonald's Corporation, UPS, Coca-Cola Companies, Nordstrom, Yum Brands, McGraw-Hill Companies, Performance Contracting Group, and AFC Enterprises.
Mr. Stokes lives and works in the South Loop neighborhood in Chicago.
